T-shirts now available!

by Suw on March 17, 2010

We have finally got the design for the Ada Lovelace Day 2010 merchandise completed and have opened a Spreadshirt shop.

You can get various t-shirts for women, men and children, plus a mug and tote bag. If there are particularly styles of t-shirt or other bits of merch that you know Spreadshirt does that you would like us to include, please let us know in the comments. I still have to add descriptions and stuff, but please feel free to have a poke about and give us feedback. All items are marked up by £1 which will go to cover costs of the Ada Lovelace Day event (comprising mostly of chair hire!).

Any sales in the US?
You should send one to the Ellen or Oprah show. I bet Ellen would even wear it.

Is there any way to sell these on cafepress? It doesn’t look like we can order these in the US.

Hm, Spreadshirt does ship to the US: http://adalovelaceday.spreadshirt.net/shop/help/index/categoryId/6#jumpto28

Without going through the entire process with a US address, which I don’t have, I can’t check. Can you give me more details of where you are having problems?

So how does the VAT thing work with an order to the US?

I guess I’m glad I don’t live in Ireland or France… € 35,00 shipping?

OK, so there have been a number of comments on Twitter too. I will set up a Cafepress shop too, but probably won’t get that done today!

What’s the license on the image? I’d like to badge my Ada Day post with it… but if it’s not Creative Commons, I can’t.

I would love love a shirt with the design on the back and a small pocket design or nothing on the front. Some of us aren’t built to have boob-frontage designs.

Robert, go for it. I’ll add a CC licence soon as I can. Meantime, take this comment as a cc-by-noncom. :D

If you set up a cafepress shop could you please get a broader range of sizes? Thanks!

Spreadshirt doesn’t seem to ship to Australia at all. A shame as I would really like to purchase some items, even if there’s no hope of them getting here on time.

If you set up on Cafepress, I will probably order two adult and two child sizes if available!

Thanks, Suw!!!
